Our purpose is to improve the health, quality of life,
and wellbeing of people & communities.
and wellbeing of people & communities.
Our Philosophy
At SRS, our overarching philosophy is to treat not only the symptoms of disease, but the cause. As a synergistic fusion of traditional Indian, Chinese, and European natural medicine with modern science, our unique formulas are underpinned by a combined knowledge of 160 years and contemporary scientific processes.
Decades of meticulous research has given rise to functional and effective modern treatments adapted to patients’ needs and refined to address a range of symptom profiles.
Our History
SRS began life as a specialist healthcare practice in Europe for patients suffering from long-term chronic, debilitating, and predominantly difficult-to-treat health conditions – ranging from heart disease, arthritis, respiratory disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, cancer after-care, liver disorders, and more.
Many of our patients had previously consulted a range of specialists in a concerted effort to improve their health complaints.
As demand for our effective, high-quality range of health products grew, so did our we – expanding our clinics into various main centres in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Ibiza. SRS then established itself in the Southern Hemisphere, first in Australia and then in New Zealand, where we currently operate in the North Island.
Our Future
SRS treatments have shown great success in helping control various chronic disease symptoms and in helping patients achieve a better quality of life.
Given our extensive history of achieving multifold benefits to overall patient health and rejuvenation, we have been following advancements in the related fields of anti-aging and longevity closely over the past decade, particularly ongoing developments in techniques for measurement of cellular age, in order to identify opportunities for collaboration and expansion.
This gave rise to the dedicated research and development branch of our company, SRS BioScience of Longevity (SRS BSoL).
BSoL’s initial focus was on investigation of the link between SRS treatment efficacy, based on real-world patient outcomes, and effects on a cellular level from a genomics perspective. This advances our understanding of the scope of the treatment effect and amelioration of mechanisms of action.
The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent elucidation of its ‘chronic’ counterpart, Long COVID, heralded an immediate and pressing global need to develop suitable tools and treatments to manage and reduce the burden of disease on society and healthcare systems. This subsequently shifted our focus to prioritising research in key areas in which we could facilitate patient recovery from Long COVID.
As the hallmarks of Long COVID share many similarities with symptoms of other post-viral chronic diseases that SRS has successfully managed in the past, we rapidly began work on a new clinical trial to determine the potential benefits and efficacy of our treatment in Long COVID patients.
This multi-centre trial is currently in progress in collaboration with a range of leading laboratories and research partners.
Key outcome indicators include a selection of Long COVID biomarkers, cellular aging biomarkers, measures of symptom severity, and patient-reported ‘health-related quality-of-life’ (HRQoL) measures.
Founders
Dr. Raj Sidhu
NATURAL HEALTH Practitioner
As an accredited naturopathic and third generation natural health practitioner, Dr. Raj Sidhu’s expertise encompasses the combined knowledge of several generations of alternative medical practice. His training began at a young age, when his father and grandfather instructed him on the medicinal properties of different herbs as he ground them up for use. This initially sparked his interest in the complementary healthcare field, which he studied in both India and Germany, and fostered his life-long enthusiasm for natural medicine.
Dr. Raj first began to research and develop treatments in Germany for patients with difficult and chronic cases of disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, heart disease, liver disorders, cancer after-care, and more. His success quickly spread through word-of-mouth and led to him founding SRS Clinics. As a practitioner, he saw patients from all around the world, with many patients flying from as far as Europe and the USA to see him. Now operating in an R&D capacity, he utilises more than 30 years of personal experience in treating patients and researching, sourcing and developing effective natural health treatments to advance SRS BSoL’s clinical research.
Raissa Sidhu
Biomedical Scientist
Raissa Sidhu is a biomedical scientist active in the biomedical research of treatments for chronic conditions, telomere science, and Long Covid (with a clinical study currently in progress). A graduate of the University of Otago and the University of Auckland with First Class Honours, she has a comprehensive understanding of a broad range of topics from neuroscience and microbiology to anatomy and physiology. She also has close to a decade of experience in the science and treatment of hair loss conditions, and oversees the running of the SRS Clinics GMP-compliant laboratory and manufacturing facility.
Raissa was responsible for achieving European market entry by working in partnership with an independent consulting firm and DAkkS-approved laboratories to satisfy stringent EU safety standards for the notification and registration of SRS Clinics products per European Directive regulations. This process featured a number of product testing requirements, including dermatological safety tests (on a panel of independent volunteers), product stability and microbiological challenge tests, and toxicological safety testing for inclusion in a final product & safety report submitted for assessment by the Council. EU Regulations govern quality control, safety monitoring and health protection, and are considered the ‘gold standard’ in safety worldwide.
Most recently, Raissa successfully managed an in vitro study examining telomerase activity in select SRS treatments in collaboration with a leading ISO- and CLIA-certified European biotech laboratory, and is currently involved in a clinical study investigating the efficacy of a Long COVID treatment in Long COVID patients.
