SRS does things differently.
Unlike other companies that outsource their production and manufacturing capabilities, we have preferred to keep everything in-house to ensure that every finished SRS product meets the high quality standards we set.
Our custom-built SRS laboratory operates according to stringent GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines to ensure a high level of safety, hygiene and quality is maintained.
Environmental Sustainability
Internationally proven and proudly New Zealand-made, SRS products are composed of the highest quality of plant and herb extracts available to allow for the body to effectively activate the healing process and to replenish itself from the inside out.
Many of our herbs and raw materials are hand-picked from remote regions of the Himalayas; great care for both the herbs and the environment is taken, with plants allowed to grow and develop without the use of pesticides or chemicals.
Traditional harvesting and processing techniques also ensure natural preservation of potency. Wild plants originating from native environments are infinitely more likely to retain their full capacity of healing powers. A native plant may contain more than 160 various healing substances, whereas the equivalent range of healing substances in the same plant, when cultivated, may drop down to 30-40.
We believe in sustaining our natural habitats and plant-life, and therefore limit the quantities we pick to allow for adequate regeneration for future harvesting.
Quarantine & Quality Assurance
All raw materials that enter the SRS Laboratory are first examined and tested according to standard operating procedures to ensure they meet set quality standards in a designated GMP quarantine area. A range of organoleptic tests are then performed on all raw materials in the quarantine area, and findings are cross-referenced against supplier quality certification information for consistency.
Raw materials are only released for use once test results have satisfied all quality standards.
Safety and Purity
Stringent hygiene and safety guidelines are carried out according to GMP protocols to ensure purity of materials throughout all stages of the manufacturing process.
Finished products are safety tested by third-party laboratories in New Zealand and Europe (worldwide considered to be the ‘gold standard’ in safety testing). Heavy metals and pesticide test results have confirmed that SRS treatments rate one hundred-fold safer than baby food, which typically has the strictest requirements for food safety. All SRS products are free of animal testing and have no side effects.
